Hello CMS Spartans!

On behalf of Cohen Middle School, welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are so excited to have our students back and to kick off another amazing year together. There is so much to look forward to—updated instructional approaches focused on essential standards, new academic support classes, assemblies, dances, sports, and more!

Over the past three years, the district has worked incredibly hard to refine our curriculum so that every child is learning at high levels in all classes. Each day, we strive to ensure that students feel welcomed, heard, and supported so they can thrive during these important middle school years. Our team of dedicated educators takes pride in getting to know each of their students, building positive relationships, and creating engaging classes where students feel confident taking risks in their learning. Your children are always our top priority, and we encourage you to reach out to your child’s teachers or the main office if there is ever anything we can do to support them.

Please make sure you have access to Parent Portal, where you can track grades, assignments, and more. If you need assistance accessing Parent Portal, the main office is happy to help. In addition, monthly newsletters will be emailed to keep families informed about what’s happening in classrooms across the school.

We’re also excited to invite you to our Fall Festival on October 8 from 6–7 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!
